Dr. Jacqueline Chan

Medical Director at Advanced Hyperbaric Recovery of Marin in the Bay
Area of California and Marin Natural Medicine Clinic

Dr. Jacqueline Chan is the medical director at Advanced Hyperbaric Recovery of Marin in the Bay
Area of California and Marin Natural Medicine Clinic where she practices as a cutting edge
integrative holistic doctor. The foundation of the health care provided at these facilities is the
basic tenet that complex chronic health issues can be healed if we “think outside of the box” by
identifying and eliminating stressors to the physiologic system such as: toxin build-up, hormone
imbalances and stealth pathogens (Lyme, virus, fungus, mold and parasite). Simultaneous to
clearing stressors on the system is the optimization of a persons health through an individualized
approach to their the immune system, gut and micro biome function, genetic frailties, diet and
lifestyle factors with the main tools of nutrition, the sophisticated application of nutraceuticals and
herbal remedies as well as osteopathic manual medicine to bring balance to the central nervous
system.

Dr. Jacqueline Chan received her B.A. in Philosophy with honors from Mt. Holyoke College in
Massachusetts. She then earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from Ohio University College of
Osteopathic Medicine in 1997, graduating top 10, and received her Family Practice Emphasis
Internship and Residency at Doctors Hospital in 2000. Dr. Chan is on faculty at the Academy of

disease with Beverly Rubik, PhD at the Institute of Frontier Science in Berkeley, California. In
2013, she graduated from the Academy of Intuition Medicine® and became an adjunct faculty
member at the Energy Medicine University in 2017. Dr. Chan’s goal is to connect the patient to
their truth, wisdom and own innate healing force within their body. As a holistic medicine
physician she believes that compassion, presence and grace are crucial healing forces along with
intelligently applied clinical knowledge. Her hobbies include hiking, meditation, dance, poetry
